The iPhone 16 and 16 Pro have many complaints of fast battery drain, particularly showing up when the smartphone goes into standby mode. This happens because in standby mode iPhone 16's are drawing more power rather than reducing battery usage. Apple has determined the latest version of iOS to be the culprit. iOS 18.1 will address several issues, including the battery drain issue. If this doesn't work, a new battery could be needed. Try restarting your iPhone 16, checking for the latest iOS software updates, reducing screen brightness and closing background apps and features. Here’s what to try if you’re having problems with NFC not working on your iPhone 16. 1. Try removing the case. The case may be interfering with the connection, especially if the case is particularly bulky. 2. Toggle AirPlay OFF and ON to try and clear anything blocking the connection. 3. Set AirDrop visibility to EVERYONE. Your AirDrop settings could be affecting how NFC works. 4. Restart your phone or update your iOS. This can be a real pain point, especially for those who are using Bluetooth to stream to wireless speakers, or send files. If you find yourself with Bluetooth issues on your iPhone 16, try these fixes: 1. Unpair & re-pair the Bluetooth device. This refreshes the connection and may fix any temporary glitches in the pairing process. 2. Reset the iPhone 16 network setting. Resetting network settings clears out all network-related configurations, including ones that could be conflicting with your Bluetooth settings. 3. Update your iOS to the latest release. This specific screen problem appears to affect Pro model iPhones that are supposed to have a 120Hz refresh rate. Some users have claimed the refresh rate for their iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max won't go above 80Hz. This has an especially crippling effect when gaming. Ensure you go into Acessibility > Motion > Limit Frame Rate. If this is turned on, it will downgrade your fresh rate to 60Hz. Ensure the setting is off to ensure you are getting the full refresh rate for your iPhone 16 Pro & Pro Max.
